GetYourGuide is a marketplace for tours and activities around the world. About two years ago, the Visual Content department was created to commission photos and videos of the company’s tours. GetYourGuide is looking for a good videographer in Dubai who would be interested in taking the tours for free and filming them. They will pay for the raw footage and handle all the post-production of the videos in-house.
Here are examples of some of the tours that GetYourGuide would like to film:

The Dominica Film Challenge is currently seeking filmmakers, photographers and storytellers to help tell the story of the island and people of Dominica. Dominica, a small tropical island located in the Caribbean (West Indies), is not to be confused with the Dominican Republic. “Many have said Dominica reminds them of what Costa Rica was 20+ years ago, before the major development boom,” says Mike Kraabel, executive producer of the Dominica Film Challenge. “There are no chain resorts and most of the locations have very high ethical and sustainable mission statements.”
The Dominica Film Challenge aims to tell the world more about this incredible island. Selected applicants will receive round-trip airfare, accommodations, meals and trail guides. Teams will spend a week on the island and document their journeys with film, photography, and other types of creative social media, then publish and share their experience with their fans.
Applications are due Friday, February 28th and the project will take place toward the end of March 2014. To learn more, visit http://www.dominicachallenge.com.
We are hoping to send a few Tripfilms TripVloggers on cruises in November to shoot simple smartphone video overviews of different areas of the ship. We’ll cover the cost of the cruise if you can get yourself to the port of departure. Cruises leave November 1st from Miami and November 15th from Tampa, Los Angeles, and New York. Please email Jamie at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in the job!
